Why we should keep GRi11 just like now?

Dear Mr Kennedy and Miss Holder

GRi11 are angry about that some people said that GRi11 will need to change their learning style. And they said we are too young to be managing our own learning. But we are not! It doesn't matter if you are young or not,all the GRi11 members can all manage their own learning.

The first day of year 6, I felt really lucky that I can have a really awesome class (GRi11) and the two most awesomest teachers Mr Robertson and Miss Gordon. They set up everything for us.Like our: spaces, google drive ,google classroom… I really like the style of GRi11! Really, I love it!

When you walk in GRi11 you will think that GRi11 is not working,they are mucking around. No you’re wrong! If you think of that. We are actually working really hard not mucking around. You hear us talking in here because we always work together and we talk to each other about how we solve problems. We all don’t agree that you guys changing GRi11. We don’t want TTS (Traditional  Teaching Style). We always finish our work on Friday at 3:00PM sharp. All the GRi11 members want to keep the GRi11 like now. Please keep GRi11 like now! Please do not change GRi11! We were born in this way! Please!!!

Hawaii 

Hawaii is at the middle of the North Pacific Ocean.Hawaii is an island that formed by a giant hotspot that occurred in the middle of the pacific plate. As the plate moved over the hotspot the Hawaii islands were formed.

In Hawaii there are about five volcanoes and they’re called Kohala, Mauna Kea,Hualalai, Mauna Loa, and Kilauea.

The Hawaiian islands were found on the 21 of August 1959 and Hawaii has been about 65 million years.Hawaii were found by British Captain James Cook also there is about 1.42 million people in Hawaii.

I think Hawaii is about 28,311km squared.And the capital of the Hawaii is Honolulu.And every year there are about 8 million people go to visit Hawaii.

And I think Hawaii is really cool.It I have a chance I would love to go to Hawaii.

The Mud Run

The Mud Run

“Awesome! There is a mud run race.”I said. ‘ I’m gonna do it! It’s gonna be freaking awesome!’I thought to myself. Then, I saw my friend Tyler so I asked him, “Do you want to do the mud run race together?”I asked. “ Of course!”Tyler answered. “Let’s go!” I said.

We quickly ran to the mud run area. “Whew! Just on time” Tyler said to me. “ 3! 2! 1… GO!” The judge yelled. Tyler and I jumped into the mud. *Splash!* Tyler and I had mud covered  all over our faces. And the mud was brown and really watery. The mud was just like water.  So I started to try swimming in it. “Wow! It works really well!” I called out. So I kept swimming and swimming until the next part.

After the first part,I went to the next part of mud run. The next part of mud run are totally different with the first part. This time,the mud was brown and sticky. And I tried to run in the sticky mud but it doesn't work. So I can only walk in that sticky mud. But,it’s not the normal walking,it’s a slow walk,because I am walking in a sticky mud.

After that,at about 3:00PM. I step on my last step… I win! I used my loudest voice and shout out...“YEAH!!!!!!!!! I win the mud run race! I came FIRST!” And also my friend Tyler came second of the mud run race. “Good job!” Said Tyler. “Thanks! You too!” I said to Tyler.

My favourite thing to do is playing badminton. Cause I am really enjoying playing badminton. I think it's a lot of fun. And also if you play badminton, it can be really good to your body. I just love to play badminton. I LOVE BADMINTON!!!!!!!!!
